Account Setup

This guide walks through setting up your SureStage account and organization.

Creating Your Account

Individual Signup

  1. Go to app.surestage.com/signup
  2. Choose a sign-up method:
    • Email & password
    • Google OAuth
    • GitHub OAuth
    • Microsoft OAuth
  3. Verify your email address
  4. Complete the onboarding wizard

Joining an Existing Organization

If your team already uses SureStage:

  1. Ask your admin to send you an invitation
  2. Click the invitation link in your email
  3. Create your account or sign in with SSO
  4. You'll be added to the organization with the assigned role

Creating an Organization

After signup, you'll be prompted to create your first organization:

  1. Enter your organization name
  2. Choose a slug (used in URLs, e.g., acme-corp)
  3. Select your plan (Free, Pro, or Enterprise)
  4. Invite team members (optional)

Configuring SSO

Enterprise plans support SAML-based SSO:

  1. Go to Settings > SSO Configuration
  2. Choose your identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, OneLogin)
  3. Follow the provider-specific setup guide
  4. Test the connection
  5. Enable SSO enforcement (optional)

SCIM User Provisioning

Automate user lifecycle management with SCIM 2.0:

  1. Go to Settings > SCIM Provisioning
  2. Generate a SCIM token
  3. Configure your IdP's SCIM connector with the token and endpoint URL
  4. Enable automatic provisioning

User Preferences

Customize your experience at Settings > Preferences:

  • Timezone - Affects log timestamps and scheduled flow runs
  • Theme - Light, dark, or system-matched
  • Default simulation settings - Pre-fill values when creating new simulations
  • Notification preferences - Email and in-app notification controls
