Demo Packs

Demo Packs are curated bundles of system templates designed for specific personas. Pick a pack and deploy all its templates at once — creating fully configured mock simulations in one click.

Overview

Each pack includes:

  • A set of pre-selected system templates (e.g., a CRM API, Identity Provider, and Payment Gateway)
  • Metadata: estimated setup time, target persona, template count
  • Optional Featured status for SureStage-curated packs
Feature Flag

This feature requires the growth_demo_packs feature flag to be enabled.

Browsing Packs

  1. Click Demo Packs in the sidebar
  2. The page shows:
    • Featured packs at the top with prominent cards
    • All packs in a responsive grid below
  3. Use persona tabs to filter:
TabShows Packs For
AllEvery available pack
SalesSales Engineers and AEs
DeveloperBackend and frontend developers
MarketingMarketing and demo teams
SupportSupport and success teams

Each card shows the pack name, description, template count, estimated setup time, and a Deploy Pack button.

Deploying a Pack

  1. Click Deploy Pack on any card
  2. The Deploy Dialog opens showing the template list:
    • Required templates are pre-checked and locked
    • Optional templates can be unchecked to skip
    • The header shows the count: "3 of 4 selected"
  3. Click Deploy

Deployment Progress

The dialog transitions to a real-time progress screen:

StatusMeaning
PendingWaiting to be created
CreatingSimulation creation in progress
DoneSimulation created successfully
FailedCreation failed (error details shown)

Templates are created sequentially. A progress bar shows overall completion.

What Happens During Deployment

For each template in the pack:

  1. A new mock simulation is created in your account
  2. All routes from the blueprint template are imported
  3. Default responses are configured automatically

Success Screen

After completion, the success screen shows:

  • Confirmation message with the pack name
  • List of created simulation IDs
  • View Simulations link to My Simulations

Viewing Past Deployments

Your deployment history is tracked with:

  • Pack name and deployment date
  • Status: completed, partial failure, or failed
  • Template count deployed vs. total

Partial Failures

If some templates fail while others succeed:

  • Status shows Partial Failure
  • Successfully created simulations remain available
  • Failed templates show error details
  • You can retry by deploying the same pack again (creates new simulations)

Limitations

  • Deploying a pack always creates new simulations — it does not reuse existing ones
  • Simulation limits from your license tier apply
  • Only active packs are visible in the listing
