Color Accessibility

The color picker shows an accessibility score (WCAG AA/AAA compliance) based on contrast ratio.

Best practices:

  • Ensure text remains readable on your chosen colors
  • Aim for WCAG AA (4.5:1 contrast ratio) at minimum
  • Test colors in preview mode before saving

Resetting Colors

Click Reset to Defaults to restore SureStage's original color scheme.

Preview Changes

Before saving branding changes, preview how they look in context.

Live Preview

The branding settings page includes a live preview panel showing:

  • Header with logo and colors
  • Button styles
  • Link colors
  • Card layouts

Changes update in real-time as you adjust settings.

Preview Modes

Switch between preview contexts:

Prospect Portal

  • How your branding appears in shared demo environments
  • Includes header, navigation, and content areas

Demo Pack

  • Branded demo collections
  • Showcase format with logo and colors

Public API Portal

  • Customer-facing API documentation
  • Documentation layout with your branding

Shared Link

  • Password-protected or public simulation shares
  • Minimal branded header

Use the preview mode tabs at the top of the preview panel to switch contexts.

Where Branding Applies

Your branding is applied selectively to external-facing features only. Internal SureStage UI remains standard.

Branded Experiences

Prospect Portals - Custom demo environments shared with prospects (see Prospect Portals)

Demo Packs - Curated collections of simulations for sales demos (see Demo Packs)

Shared Simulation Links - Public or password-protected shares generated via the Share button

Public API Portals - Customer-facing API documentation with branded navigation

Email Notifications - Emails sent from your organization to external recipients

Non-Branded Experiences

SureStage Web App - Internal dashboard, simulation editor, settings (remains SureStage branded)

Internal Notifications - In-app notifications to team members

Admin Pages - Settings, user management, audit logs

This separation ensures consistent user experience for your team while presenting a professional, branded appearance to external stakeholders.

Branding Rollout

Branding changes take effect immediately for new shares and portals. Existing shares update within 5 minutes.

Verifying Changes

After saving branding settings:

  1. Create a new shared link or prospect portal
  2. Open it in a private/incognito browser window
  3. Verify the logo and colors appear correctly

If changes don't appear, wait 5 minutes for the cache to refresh.

Organization vs. Workspace Branding

Organization branding applies to all workspaces within your organization. Individual workspaces cannot override organization branding.

Workspace names still appear in prospect portals and shared links, but use organization branding for visual styling.

Best Practices

Use high-resolution logos - Upload at least 2x the display size for crisp rendering on high-DPI screens.

Keep it simple - Logos with transparent backgrounds work best. Avoid complex, multi-color designs.

Test colors in context - Preview branding in all contexts (portals, emails, shares) before finalizing.

Match your website - Use the same colors and logo as your public website for brand consistency.

Consider dark mode - If your logo has dark elements, test how it appears on light backgrounds.

Common Issues

Logo appears blurry - Upload a higher resolution image. Aim for at least 800 x 200 pixels.

Colors look different than expected - Ensure you're entering the correct hex code. Use a color picker tool to extract exact values from your brand guidelines.

Branding not appearing in shared links - Wait 5 minutes for cache refresh. Check that branding is saved (look for success message).

Can't access branding settings - Verify you have organization admin role. See Roles & Permissions.
